Eurostat – EU Recession: Industrial production down by 1.2% in the euro area and by 1.0% in the EU

Among Member States for which data are available, the largest monthly decreases were recorded in Germany (-5.2%), Greece (-4.5%) and Austria (-3.1%). The highest increases were observed in Ireland (+9.8%), Luxembourg (+4.8%) and Sweden (+3.6%).

This is interesting because Germany’s state statistic office, DeStatis, only reported a decline of 4.3 percent. And don’t forget that Ireland’s Leprechaun Economy has nothing to do with reality.
