This is only the tip of the iceberg. The low value of the Euro due to weak economies in the euro-group has been vital for Germany’s trade surplus, not to mention the very low interest rates it pays for its debts and bonds. The list goes on and is worth hundreds of billions of euros for Germany. Let us not forget the Greek assets German companies have been picking up for pennies. The Greek crisis is the best thing that could happen for Germany. They know that and will do everything to keep it going. That is the true spirit of the EU.
