He led the Creel Commission, founded 1917 by the US government under President Woodrow Wilson but under the pressure of Wall Street: Now the USA had to enter the 1. World War in Europe also militarily to save the credits of Wall Street for the european Allies with which they bought the military equipment from US companies and became heavily indebted. So Lippmann organized the propaganda that the USA had to enter the War and the US government followed. and the Wall Street was against New Deal of Roosevelt – so in 1938 Lippmann organized the meeting of the then leading neoliberal scientists like von Hayek and Mises in Paris, together with Wall Street Bankers working in the Wall Street founded Bank for International Settlements, BIS in Switzerland which from 1938 on wahsed the looted gold of the then dozen occupied states by Hitler’s wehrmacht, beginning 1938 in Austria. After the War Hayek and others founded the leading institution of the Neoliberalism, the Mont Pèrlin Society, also in Switzerland.
