DeStatis – Germany: Gross domestic product stagnant in 1st quarter of 2023

It is interesting, ever since we started following DeStatis, the German state statistical office, whenever there was a close call regarding falling into technical recession in the second quarter the economy stagnated at 0 percent or grew by 0.1 percent. The question is, as a government agency, if DeStatis is not mainipulating its numbers? It most certainly shows a clear pro-government bias with its headlines.
