As we have seen with Volkswagen and Deutsche Bank, Germany, not able to compete on the free market, does not break laws, they simply change them in their favour. Now Germany wishes to change monopoly and cartel laws in the EU to enable them to create new advantages for their failing industry (so much for superior German technology) and further weaken consumer protection.
