A political dam has broken in the United Kingdom as Britons have discovered that austerity is neither good for them or their children, that the free market is not free, but serves the interest of the rich, and the Tories are not solving their problems, but creating them. It is a zombie party and the next election will probably see a landslide victory for Labour. What the author does not mention is that the Tories are demographically dying, as most of its support comes from those over 65 years of age.
