We have repeatedly referred to the cartels – An association of companies obtaining the total control over a market. These are nothing less than trans-European monopolies – endemic to the EU. The interesting aspect of this article is the fine imposed by the EU (€2.93bn), while the damage being claimed by the British hauliers is alone (€5.5bn). This difference is not “soft touch”, but criminal collusion.
