This is the perrect metaphor for Germany and its military. First the incorrectly identified a US drone and tried to shoot it down. Since its missiles misfired they fell into the sea. It appears that the German navy had previously released information that the ship had destroyed two enemy drones. Better yet, it has been discoverd that the munitions the frigate uses is no longer being produced and will soon run out. Welcome to today’s Germany.
