Craig Mokhiber resigned as Director of the UN’s New York Office of the Higher Commissioner for Human Rights citing the organizations insufficient response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and the push back he received even before 10/7 when critiquing the human rights violations perpetrated by Israel. In this episode, he applies his expertise as a human rights lawyer to substantiating the claim that Israel is in fact committing a genocide, and dives deep into what is broken at the UN, including capture by US interests, and what must happen to advance the rights of Palestinians.
