Prem Sikka: This decision will make a mockery of EU claims to be tackling tax havens

American Samoa, Guam, Namibia, Palau, Samoa and Trinidad and Tobago. What do these nations have in common besides that you probably do not know where they are on the map? They will probably be the last nations, which the EU will still consider tax-havens. What happened to Panama, Luxembourg, The Cayman Islands, the United States? Without tax-havens neo-liberalism would not function so well, and that is the last thing the EU wants. Wait a moment, aren’t we part of the EU?
