There is a recrudescence of nationalism in the Eastern EU. The Hungarian minority in Romania wants to become part of Hungary. Romania wants Moldova to once again belong to Romania. This is especially dangerous as Moldova is controlled by Russia and this is just the sort of conflict Nato could well want. Very dangerous indeed!
