Thomas Frank: It’s not wage rises that are a problem for the economy – it’s the lack of them

If we look back, it was high wages and the power it gave to workers that caused the reaction known as neo-liberalism. Thus this is no coincidence. Workers will not strike for more free beer or jet skiing, but they do fight for higher wages.
