Brave New Europe – Costas Lapavitsas: The State of the EU Economy

The State of the Union is a series of events organized by alternative media organizations Brave New Europe and Conter ahead of the European Parliamentary elections.

Costas Lapavitsas is a professor of economics at SOAS in London. He is the author of numerous books, including ‘Profiting Without Producing’ (2013), ‘The Left Case Against the EU’ (2018), and most recently, ‘The State of Capitalism’, along with the EReNSEP Writing Collective.

Costas is a former member of the Greek Parliament and a candidate for Mera25 in the European Parliament elections.
